About Bob Anderson
Bob Anderson (1921-1997) entered an alcoholic hospital in Cleveland, Ohio on December 11, 1952 and remained sober for over 44 years. At two and a half years sober Bob realized that he was in a serious dilemma. That is, he was the same man, sober, as he was drunk. He thought and acted the same way and no matter how hard he tried or how much he vowed to change, he repeated the same performance. He was still irritable, restless and discontented. Bob began a search for an answer to this dilemma and, through trial and error, found the answer. He discovered how alcoholism appears and functions, as a living Mind-Powered Disease and that the purpose of the Twelve Step Program is to treat the disease by building a new character, which in turn produces recovery and a truly successful life. He devoted his life to carrying this message. Over his 44 years, he has conducted numerous workshops and retreats through which he has helped thousands of alcoholics, addicts and others to recover worldwide. Testimonials.
